Jamie and Gail Arias

Jamie and his wife Gail have competed professionally for over fifteen years.  Their numerous accomplishments include 1st place title in the World’s Showcase Dance Championships Lifts Division, Five time United States Dance Champions, Two time Recipients of the Dancer’s Hall of Fame. Voted number one in the United States as America's Favorite Showcase Dance Couple.

Together they have produced, directed, performed, and choreographed for television shows, commercials, film, theatre, and concerts.

They have competed, performed and instructed master dance workshops throughout the United States and Europe.

Jamie and Gail are famous for their chemistry together on and off the dance floor, athleticism, originality and dynamic performance style.
     
Gail was born and raised in Southern California. She began dancing at the young age of four. Gail studied ballet, jazz, modern and hawaiian dance throughout her childhood and teens. At age eighteen she began studying International and American style Ballroom, Latin, Hustle, Swing dancing and Adagio. She decided to devote her education and career goals towards dance, health and fitness at that same time.  She began competing in aerobic dance, International latin, ballroom and theatre arts by age twenty two. At age twenty four Gail received her degree in nutrition and shortly thereafter opened her own health, fitness and dance studio in Pasadena, California. Her love of dance, performing and competing quickly evolved into a successful career and business.

Jamie was born and raised in Southern California. He studied marshal arts as a teen and later became interested in partner dancing after seeing the film "Saturday Night Fever" with John Travolta. He studied jazz, ballroom, latin, hustle, adagio (aerials and lifts) and swing dancing in Los Angeles. Jamie's fitness regimine has always included body building and stretching which gives him the strength and flexibility for adagio. Jamie began teaching couples dance at age twenty three and is best known and famous for being the most popular dance teacher with the largest student enrollment in all of Beverly Hills, greater Los Angeles area and Westwood for twenty years.

Together they make learning how to dance fun and easy! Jamie and Gail have taught over 200,000 people how to dance.
